Veterans Kayaking Arkansas with a Veteran Guide
Experience the beauty of Arkansas’s rivers and lakes through our veteran-guided kayaking program. Perfect for individuals or families, these guided trips offer veterans the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, build camaraderie, and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
Currently, we have two kayaks stored in Bryant, and our goal is to expand our collection to sets of four so families can enjoy these trips together. As we receive donations or make purchases, we plan to store kayaks in Bryant, Fort Smith, and Beebe to make the program accessible to veterans across the state.

Veterans Camping Arkansas with a Veteran Guide
Join fellow veterans for guided camping trips in some of Arkansas’s most beautiful parks. These trips offer an opportunity to connect with nature, build camaraderie, and enjoy the outdoors in a supportive environment. Camping trips will vary from parks with facilities, to primitive, to hike-ins.
We are also seeking donations of camping gear that veterans can check out for these trips. Your support will help ensure that all veterans have the equipment they need to enjoy camping adventures.
Additionally, veterans who are 100% permanently disabled and Arkansas residents are eligible for half-price camping in most Arkansas State Parks, making it even easier to enjoy the outdoors with your family and fellow veterans.

America the Beautiful Pass - US Parks
The America the Beautiful Pass is a free, lifetime pass available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have been medically determined to have a permanent disability (it does not need to be a 100% disability). This pass provides access to over 2,000 federal recreation sites, including national parks, forests, and wildlife refuges, allowing entry for the pass owner and accompanying passengers in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle.
Additionally, current U.S. military members can receive a free Military Pass by presenting a valid military ID at most federal lands that charge an entrance fee. Sites that issue the annual pass will generally also issue the free military version. It is recommended to contact the federal land site in advance to ensure they have the pass available.
Both the disability and military passes can be obtained in person at any federal recreation site. Photo identification may be required to verify ownership. Please note that these passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
These passes are a wonderful way for veterans, active-duty military, and individuals with disabilities to explore and enjoy the beauty of America’s natural treasures at no cost.
