Hello Team AFF... with now over 700 members throughout the state of Arkansas, we need your help in planning and executing events. We have now created a member and volunteer sign up opportunity to help make sure we have you listed for the things you want to be a part of.

Volunteer and STAFF Opportunities in the AFF
The AFF has the following openings available:
AFF Board Member - If you have what it takes to lead an organization, help plan, coordinate and execute the mission the of the AFF, then being a board member may be whats right for you. The Board tenure rotates and positions are open each October. Consider this very rewarding volunteer opportunity.
Asst Bike Program Manager - Assist the Bike Manager with building and passing out bikes. Maintenance of the AFF Trailer and storage shed.
AFFNWA Ride Team Member - Must participate in 4 organized USA Cycling or Bike Reg events every year with AFF jersey. Example Square to Square or Big Dam Bridge.

Fishing Chairman - Coordinates fishing equipment, donations, events and fishing trips. Lead AFF person for the new annual Fishing with Heroes event at Lake Dardanelle and the John Pickell AFF Fishing Day in Heber Springs. Finds opportunities for AFF members to participate in fishing events throughout the state.
Asst Fishing Chairman - Assist the Program chairman with planning and executing fishing events. Including equipment purchase recommendations, sponsorship and fund raising. Under the direction of the Fishing Chairman.
Asst Golf Program Chairman - Assist with planing and executing the golf program, including sponsorship and fund raising. This program helps get our members out to a course. Under the direction of the Golf Program Chairman.
Spring Fling Coordinator - Do you have the talent and organizational skills? Can you communicate and are you good at event planning? We are looking for a self starter and go getter to work with Mickey on the Annual Spring Fling set for Bruno's Powersports each spring.
Regional Member Coordinators - Similar to peer support folks from other organizations, we are looking for point persons for the members in your areas. Our growth has made it a necessity to have contacts to forward key information both out to members and in to the program chairmen. So consider being a point man for your area of the state.
Golf Scramble Coordinator - Separate from the Golf program, this volunteer position helps with our fund raising Scrambles. The Freedom Scramble at Diamante and the Dave Elswick 9-11 Tournament at Cypress Creek. This involves helping find sponsors for the event and donors for prizes. Good communication skills are essential.
Editor/Publisher - Creating the AFF Newsletter and Information. This publication is posted about 4-6 times a year. Used to post upcoming events and event details for members and for donors as informational reference of AFF activities. Imagination and communication skills are needed for this important mission.
