As part of our Outdoor Adventure Series, the Arkansas Freedom Fund has partnered with the Pine Bluff Arsenal Firefighters Association to offer a unique Wounded Warrior Hunt each season. Each year, three to eight veterans will be selected for a two-day hunting experience on the Arsenal grounds.
This adventure provides our veterans with the sense of normalcy they cherished before their service. Hosted by the PBA Firefighters Association, participants will enjoy a full hunting experience, starting with breakfast before heading out to the stand with a dedicated host. After a morning hunt, you’ll return for lunch and can venture back out at your own pace until evening.
The day concludes with a relaxing dinner and social gathering, and the hunt continues the next day as you pursue that prized trophy for your wall. It’s an experience of camaraderie, nature, and appreciation for those who have served.
